Marilyn is originally from New York, but has spent much of her life in California. She works in the computer industry, and has two adult children. Her hobbies include board games, puzzles, and playing with her dog Esther.
Kiriyo “Rio” Spooner
Kiriyo is originally from Indiana, but has lived overseas and in several states before she settled in the Bay Area. She spent her career in the book industry and retired in 2020. Her hobbies include singing, art, miniatures, and shenanigans.
Marilyn and Kiriyo met in 2007 at a social gathering in San Francisco. They became fast friends, but over the years their relationship grew, and in 2015 they made a commitment to each other. This marriage is the next step in their life journey.
